How placement protects progress
Starting in the wrong course can make tutoring feel like catching up forever. Placement helps us recommend Bridge to Algebra, Pre-Algebra, or Algebra I based on what the student can do now.
For families
Aviola Academy partners with parents and guardians. These resources explain how placement, consultation, and tutoring work together—without inflated promises.

Ask your student to explain their reasoning out loud, keep practice consistent, and treat mistakes as information. You do not need to reteach every lesson—steady routines matter more than finishing the hardest problem.
Sessions are structured, live, and focused on the skills identified through placement. Families receive a clear next step after the parent consultation rather than a one-size-fits-all packet of homework.
Encourage your student to try each question honestly. Guessing to look more advanced can lead to a recommendation that is too difficult. Accurate results help us start in the right place.
